Tracy McMahon

As a litigation partner at Fast Trippier, Tracy McMahon represents commercial and individual clients from a range of industries and backgrounds, at all levels of court in Manitoba and Alberta. Tracy assists clients with their negotiation, arbitration, administrative tribunal, and professional association matters.

Regardless of whether you are an executive, a small business owner, or an individual with a personal dispute, Tracy and the litigation team will work with you to develop a plan to minimize your time, financial commitment, and stress.

Whether as claimants or as defendants, clients are entitled to communication and clear understanding of their matters at all stages of their proceedings. Tracy works with you to resolve disputes, assess risk, and where possible, avoid future litigation.

Tracy's litigation practice includes experience with:

  • Contract disputes: construction, insurance, commercial landlord and tenant
  • Corporate and partnership disputes: shareholders, oppression claims
  • Employment: wrongful dismissal, non-competition clauses, confidentiality clauses
  • Personal injury
  • Professional regulators
  • Wills & Estates

Awarded her law degree from the University of Alberta, Tracy and her family returned to life and practice in Manitoba over a decade ago. Prior to joining Fast Trippier in April 2017, she developed her practice in both large and boutique firms.
